Lotte van den Noort (1995) is a Dutch author born in the Brabant municipality of Helmond. From the moment she learned how to use pen and paper, Lotte began writing numerous short stories in notebooks, which she proudly and enthusiastically shared with her classmates. Her teacher told her even back then that he believed in her potential.
At the age of fourteen, after reading an article about a young girl who had published her own book, Lotte thought, “I can do that too!”
Lotte’s passion lies in historical stories. Her mother often told her she has an “old soul.” At times, Lotte wonders if she was born in the wrong era, as she finds stories set in the past deeply captivating and moving.
In addition to writing, Lotte works as a graphic designer, specializing in book covers and interiors for various publishers and authors.
