Maybe I’ll Tell

Maybe I'll Tell

The St. Ursula Tales, Book Two

Jay Heron

Besides its stained glass, cathedral ceilings, and yellow roses, the Saint Urusla Institute is known for its bottomless well of secrets—a business opportunity a certain TikTokker named TellTale McSnitch can't resist. Each video they post hints at someone's salacious secret, and that secret can be bought for public consumption for the mere price of $1,000 in the Secret Lover Auction. Slowly, but surely, secrets get revealed one by one.

Being in the spotlight is Cadey's worst nightmare, and that nightmare comes true when she's the first target of TellTale McSnitch's terror. The only upside, according to her best friend Maisy, is that with new secrets being auctioned off, the school will soon forget hers. But when TellTale targets her crush Peter and his gay best friend Leo, the four students set out to unmask the malicious TikTokker and end Saint Ursula's torment.

The hunt for TellTale McSnitch, however, leads them on a winding path with sharp turns and roadblocks. Meanwhile, fear and violence paint the halls of Saint Urusla as more and more secrets come to light. Can the team of friends put a stop to TellTale's wicked plans? Or will his big TikTok finale explode across the internet first?

In a world where 74% of the population possesses unique abilities passed down by the 16 Divinities of the Sun and Moon, it takes a miracle to stand out…

Or a disaster.

Meiling Katz is a nobody. With no Divine blood and a mysterious illness that’s plagued her since the Lunar Eclipse Massacre killed her parents thirteen years ago, she’s powerless. Suraya Zialitos is a living legend. As the heir to the most powerful lineage in the world—those descended from Ataru, Divinity of the Sun—Suraya is destined for greatness. Maybe It’s You

Maybe It's You

The Saint Ursula Tales, Book One

Jay Heron

Work hard, get straight As, and do whatever it takes to get into a respectable college. It’s a mantra all high school seniors are acquainted with. Although, most of them would never take it as literally as four students at the Saint Ursula Institute have. No, for aspiring architect Parker, nerdy athlete Eric, teacher’s pet Shawna, and former cheerleader Addison, “whatever it takes” entails far more than they could have imagined.

The biggest obstacle on their roads to an Ivy League college is Mrs. Kaufmann, a mathematics teacher from hell. After failing her class repeatedly, the four students gather forces. They devise a plan to pull her out of the equation, buckle up, and do “whatever it takes”. However, this comes with an emotional toll none of them are prepared for. It may even be worth it, if everything goes as planned…

One year later, anonymous threats start coming in. Someone knows what happened, and wants them to confess. Soon, the blackmailer shows they have no trouble following through with their violent threats. The four friends—the ones that are still alive—have a choice to make: turn themselves in, or put their fates in the hands of their tormentor.

Unless they find a way to turn this lose-lose situation around before it’s too late…

Tilting Gravity

Tilting Gravity

The Eichon Series, Book One

Jenn Storey

The moon is falling.

Born with the gravity majik needed to prevent certain doom, instead of training, seventeen-year-old Syd spends her days skipping academy classes to tinker with airships, ignoring her future as a soldier in the army of the Eichon–the goddess-gifted ruler of the planet. As expected, Syd ends up in the Director's office more often than not, and the academy has had to get creative with its "motivational methods" in hopes that Syd will begin to take her gravity majik seriously.

Luckily, she's untouchable, betrothed to the Eichon’s daughter, Adeline. Unluckily, Syd's about to learn she will be the next to take up the Eichon’s mantle.

Adeline has been groomed to follow in her mother’s footsteps since she was a child. When it’s revealed Syd, not Adeline, will become the next Eichon (not to mention do the impossible–save the world), trust begins to break as roles and identities fall apart. Then, when Adeline goes missing, Syd must choose: follow the destiny given to her or find Adeline.

All the while, the looming moon serves as an ever-present reminder of just how small–and thus how big–her problems truly are.
